1290616639consejoIts primary mission is the defense of viticulture from his production by ensuring the quality and promotion of their wines. It was founded in 1973 and accommodates a total of 182 municipalities: 12 in the province of Albacete, 58 in Ciudad Real, Cuenca 66 and 46 in Toledo.
In 2007, in compliance with the Law of Vine and Wine of Castilla-La Mancha, the Regulatory Council becomes AIC, forming part of different agricultural, industrial and cooperative associations.
