<< With Designation of Origin >>
DO MANCHA
The indication of Designation of origin not only corresponds to the geographical location and information about the wine, but it is essentially a guarantee that the wine has been subjected to multiple security checks to ensure its quality.

In regards to the vineyards, the Designation of origin are enclosed to a specific production area and establish what grape varieties are allowed in each designation, in addition to regular farming practices.

They also regulate the production of wines in the cellars of the oenological practices accepted and allowed, such as wine containing only natural sugars from the stum, the maximum and minimum alcoholic level, etc.

The strict control that the wine is subjected to at all stages of development is aimed at getting a quality product that contains what is stated on the bottle.

In addition to the chemical analysis to which the wine undergoes, the main committee used by the Regulatory Boards to provide a quality product is the Tasting Committee, before and after bottling, it is important to taste all the wines that desire title from the Designation of Origin. Samples are collected by surprise checks from experts of the Council in the wineries, accepting only wines that are of high quality.

La Mancha also offers the best price.

When buying a wine, you have to compare them with other wines of the same developing features.

If we focus on aged wines from Designation of origin La Mancha, compared with other wines of the same characteristics in the Spanish market, the quality is quite astounding for its price. In the Council of the Designation of origin La Mancha, we are aware that we must be more rigorous than others, due to the prejudices that still exist with some consumers, to achieve the same recognition, but this makes us strive and to further improve the quality that our wines already have.

Wines are competitive in every way

The vast amount of vineyards in La Mancha makes the cost of the grapes cheaper than in other regions of Spain and of course Europe. The high level of technology in wineries in the last ten years has made the wine from this region to be sold at an attractive price for consumers, without reducing their quality image.

Moreover, one should include the addition of new, young winemakers, highly qualified, who have managed to adapt the characteristics of the wine to the market demands, without losing its uniqueness.

We must dispel the myths that placed La Mancha as a region producing only white table wines. The actual truth is quite different. We constantly see how our wine harvests many successes in international competitions and the exports from the Designation of origin La Mancha rise year after year.
